Who are we? What do we do?
Soil and water conservation districts are local agencies that work to protect and improve Ohio's soil, water, air, plant, and animal resources through responsible land use and conservation. SWCDs work alongside federal and state agencies to help landowners implement conservation practices supported through local, state, and federal programs, as well as landowner contributions.
