Leading Volunteer Monitors Program
We are happy to introduce the Leading Volunteers Monitor Program, the first volunteer monitoring program in the Leading Creek Watershed. This page features information about the program, which we were able to start in the summer of 2010 through an Ohio Environmental Protection Agency mini-grant. (Click here to read about the grant.) Although the grant is now over, we are excited to continue this program and keep working with our volunteers! Click the links below to learn more about the program.
This document is the Leading Volunteer Monitor's resource and guide to understanding the program. We encourage volunteers to read this handbook and print it to take in the field.
There are currently 23 monitoring sites throughout the watershed. Follow the link above to view the packet, which includes site descriptions, photos, and directions to each site.
In addition to the sites packet, click on the map below to view an interactive Google Map showing the locations of all the sites on the map. Each blue arrow marks a site. Click on sites for additional descriptions or specific instructions.
